Our Skype name is - orvillefour. Ref: 53823 This fantastic art glass paperweight was made in the United Kingdom by Novolor, as a commemorative item for the North Eastern Marine Engineering Co. (1938) Ltd. It is of rectangular shaped form, and is decorated with wording arranged around the edge, picked out in black, to a mirrored ground, cased in clear crystal. Marks & Backstamps The paperweight marked with the wording 'North Eastern Marine Engineering Co. (1938) Ltd', and various other wording, and is guaranteed to be genuine, early and original. Condition & Size The paperweight has some slight surface scratching, and some extremely minor nibbles around the rims and to the corners, which is common in a piece of this vintage, and does not detract. Otherwise, it is in very good condition, with no cracks or restoration. It measures approximately 2¼” in width and ½" in height.
