I have been told by a collector the following: This is made in 1891-1921 by carlsbad Austria.(pease see the note at the bottom that I added! If you need anything else about this item please ask! When I was 16 I started collecting Nippon. I loved the detail and I have several items that I paid big bucks for back then. I am now in my 40"s and cleaning house. I am not an expert on any of the items I am listing. However I do remember when I bought this dish I was told it was to keep rings in. I also was told the bee hive mark on the bottom was rare as well as the bear mark. I paid 180.00 for it back in 1979. It is only about 3 inches in diameter, the colors are a purple with pink flowers. It is trimmed in gold. No beaded gold, just brush mark gold. Shipping 10.00 in US. Please ask questions, or you experts can give me some information. Thanks
